Unitronics was chosen as general contractor to design, supply and install an automated logistic system within the new distribution center of the Dairy Division of Tnuva Marketing Cooperation, a large marketing and trading company.
The distribution center consists of an automated storage and retrieval system designed to operate in a refrigerated environment (4ºC), conveying systems, monorails, elevators and other components.
The control and software components of the system are based on Unitronics PLCs and other control software tools developed by Unitronics such as UniStock™ WMS sofware designed to manage material flow and automated storage in logistic systems, while continuously exchanging information with the organization's ERP system.
